1 oz fresh lemon juice
4 oz dark rum
4 oz passion fruit syrup
Crushed ice
Orange slice
1 Maraschino Cherry
In a cocktail shaker,
add lemon juice, rum, passion fruit syrup and
crushed ice. Shake vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes.
Strain into a tall glass or hurricane glass. Garnish
with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry and
hold on for dear life! Makes 1 serving.
* For a fruity, delicious
nonalcoholic version, simply omit the rum.
Sheriff’s Deputy Sweitzer’s Shrimp
Dip:
2 cans shrimp, drained
1 can shrimp, with juice
1 medium onion, grated
3 8oz. packages cream cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Lemon pepper and Tony Chachere’s seasoning to
taste
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except shrimp, and beat until
light and fluffy. Add two drained cans of shrimp
and one with juice, folding gently. Can be served
warm or cold with crackers or chips of choice.
